　われらの目的と理想に直接関係なきいわゆる日常闘争や、実行をともなわぬカラ宣伝を一掃して、そのムダな力を真の意味の直接行動に向けるべきである。支配階級がその配下を指揮してわれらの運動に弾圧を加えるとき、われらはその爪牙［そうが］たる権力奴隷のみを当の敵と見て全力を挙げて戦い傷つくとき、そのイヌどもに囲まれた中で権力者どもは何の苦痛も直接感じていないのだ。このような戦いは力の浪費であり、間接的たる点において敵に苦痛を与える程度からいえば議会運動と大差ないのだ。真の直接運動は支配者そのものと直接に組み打ちするの意である。ゆえにいわゆる日常闘争なるものがことごとくわれらの目的に向かって障害を一個一個破って行くところの積極的運動であるならそれはすなわち、もはや労働者の地位改善とか、悪法廃止のごとき改良主義的なものでなくて「革命運動」そのものである。直接行動は決して内容のない鐘の響きのようなものであってはならない。声は小さくとも社会への反響は聞こえなくとも直ちに敵の心臓を貫くものでなくてはならぬ。小さな原因を作ることが重大な結果をまき起こす場合が多い。ただし、われらは過去に余りに多大の犠牲を払った。今後は犠牲は出すな。不正に反抗して戦うに決してわれらの尊い血の一滴も流すに及ばぬ。不義邪悪に向かってはあくまで卑怯に陰険に行動することが当然である。アナキズム戦術としてあくまでこの純粋の直接行動すなわち革命運動を持って1930年を意義あらしめたい（ポール・ベルテロー、山鹿泰治訳『民衆の鐘－無政府共産主義の福音』黒色戦線社発行、1987年新版、30-31頁より。初出は『黒旗』無政府主義戦闘誌、1930年1月号、黒色戦線改題第1巻第2号所載、黒色戦線社発行）。

"We should turn away our power for direct action of true meaning by sweeping out so-called daily struggles or meaningless propaganda without execution. Becauese they are not directly related to our purposes and ideals. When the ruling class command their subordinates to oppress our movement, when we fight and injure with our whole power, seeing only their slaves as our enemies, the ruling class do not feel any pain who are protected by their dogs. Such a battle is a waste of power, and the pain to the enemy is almost the same as that of the parliamentary indirectly movement. Direct movement means fighting directly with the ruler itself. Therefore, if the so-called daily struggle is such an active movement that breaks obstacles one by one toward the purpose, it is no longer an reformist movement such as the improvement of the status of workers or the abolition of the bad law. It is the "revolutionary movement" itself. Direct action should never be like a silent bell. Direct action, even if voices are small, should immediately penetrate the enemy's heart, even if there is no immediate response from society. Creating multiple small causes often has serious consequences. However, we made too many sacrifices in the past. Don't make sacrifices in the future. It is not necessary to shed a drop of our precious blood to fight against injustice. It is only natural to act in a vulgar and intriguing way towards injustice. I want to make 1930 meaningful, with this anarchist tactics, by this pure direct action, that is, revolutionary movement."
